This Privacy Policy describes how Groomly (“Groomly,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website at trygroomly.com, our client booking portal, our mobile application, and our SMS notification services (collectively, the “Services”).
Mobile Information & SMS Data
Groomly respects your privacy. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or mobile data with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates. Your mobile carrier data remains 100% private and protected.
Information We Collect
We collect information provided by you or by the local service business you patronize, including: your name, phone number, email address, service address, pet profile details (name, breed, grooming history), and appointment records. We also collect technical information such as device type and usage data when you interact with our booking portal or mobile application.
How We Use Information
We use your information solely to operate the Services: scheduling and confirming appointments, sending appointment lifecycle notifications you have opted into, optimizing service routes, operating loyalty and referral programs, and providing customer support. We never use your information for unrelated third-party advertising.
SMS Communications
If you have opted in to SMS notifications, we send transactional and appointment-related text messages on behalf of your local service provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. Opt-out requests are honored immediately and your consent records are retained only as required to document compliance.
Data Sharing
We share your information only with: (1) the local service business that you patronize, for the purpose of fulfilling your appointments; and (2) service providers that operate strictly on our behalf under confidentiality obligations (such as our telecommunications and payment processors). We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.
Data Security & Retention
We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, single-use tokenized booking links, and access controls that limit data visibility to the business you patronize. We retain information only as long as needed to provide the Services or as required by law.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at support@trygroomly.com. You may withdraw SMS consent at any time by replying STOP.
